HOME INSPECTIONS

​Home Inspections are composed of an integrated process of observation, evaluation, and report writing with a goal of providing the client with an understanding of the home and its systems. A Home Inspection depends on the size and age of the home and can take up to 6 hours. The Home Inspection report  will be received on an agreed upon date or within 5 business days after the conclusion of the inspection. Additional test results (Radon) may require additional time.
The Radon testing is not included in the Home Inspection. In addition to a home inspection, Jereme can perform Radon Testing.

*RADON TESTING*

Radon is cancer-causing radioactive gas. Radon cannot be seen, smelled, or tasted. When Radon gas is inhaled it can cause lung cancer. The Surgeon General has warned that Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US. 
Radon typically moves up through the ground through cracks or holes in the foundation. A home can trap Radon inside and reach dangerous levels. A home with any type foundation no matter if new or old can have a Radon problem. This can include with or without a basement, including slab, and crawl space homes. 
Testing is the only way to know if you and your family are at risk from Radon. Jereme has acquired his Radon Inspector Certification. He can provide the necessary Radon testing needed to check Radon levels in your home. Jereme can provide the expertise to properly inform you of the testing results and the steps to take if needed. This testing can be done before a purchase of a new home or annually to insure safety on a current home.
